Pillow loft by sleep position
Back sleepers
Medium loft (10โ13 cm thick). Keeps neck aligned with spine. Memory foam or latex contour pillow ideal.
Side sleepers
High loft (13โ17 cm). Fills the gap between shoulder and ear. Buckwheat, latex, or shredded memory foam best.
Stomach sleepers
Low loft (5โ8 cm) or NO pillow under head. A pillow under hips instead reduces lower back strain. Stomach sleeping is HARD on the neck regardless of pillow.
Combination sleepers
Adjustable pillow (Coop Original, Layla Kapok) โ add/remove fill to suit position.
